Two More Rewards Unlocked!

Fantabulous furballs! Between our last update and today, you managed to unlock another three social stretch goals, and along with them, another two whole Kickstarter Exclusive rewards. Thank you so much to everyone who’s been sharing, hearting, and commenting on Wizard Kittens—and thanks especially to those who’ve taken pictures of sorcerous animals, and to @serathekitty for a video of a wizard kitten caught in the act!

New Rewards! Plural!

As always, we consulted the great Feline Oracle Ophelia to determine what rewards you unlocked. Her nose has never led us astray (though she does sometimes have to stretch herself out first to make a good reading of the smelly fates).

Behold! A big stretch, followed by the fourth reward overall, and the first of the day!

That’s another new monster card for the Kickstarter Exclusive Pack! Each new monster card is another adorable magical critter who can add on to the options for the curse deck, creating new, interesting challenges the kittens must overcome!

And after having consulted the smells to choose the first reward, Ophelia chose again, allowing the winds of magic and noms to guide her to the second reward of the day (and fifth overall)…

A new curse card and new Chaos Cat rule card! The curse card adds to the options within the curse deck, while the new rule card will add a new way for the Chaos Cat to mess with your game in progress!

Goodness gracious! That’s a total of 3 new monsters, 2 new rules, and 2 new curses in the Kickstarter Exclusive Pack! Remember, everyone who backs at least $20 gets the full pack, along with Cinder, the wizard kitten who graces the cover of the box.

Upcoming Goals

And we’re far from done, too! If we reach $75,000 in funding, that’s a whole other reward unlocked. And beyond that, if we achieve just three more social stretch goals, that too is another whole reward (and another treat for Ophelia!). Here are some more goals we’re coming up on:

• We have about 450 likes/loves on our Facebook post—another 50, and that’s a social stretch goal unlocked!
• We have 450 shares on Twitter and Facebook—we just need another 50 to the next goal!
• We have 5 pics of puppers who wish they were wizard kittens—if we get another 5, that’s a goal! (Remember to share it where we can see it, like on #wizardkittens!)
• We’re still looking for people pics—those brave souls willing to admit they wish they were wizard kittens. If we get enough of those, then that’s a goal!

So! Much! Magic!

This has been an absolutely paw-some journey, and we’re so grateful to all of you for supporting us and joining us. There’s still plenty of time left in the Wizard Kittens campaign, and we’re excited to see what other cool things we get to add! Welcome Orion—A Bargaining Wizard Kitten!

Hey everyone! We have some exciting news today!

Orion, the Bargain Kitty Joins Wizard Kittens!

Have you heard of Bargain Quest, the awesome item shop board game by Jonathan Ying, illustrated by Victoria Ying? It’s an adorable game with some serious depth! We are super excited to get our copies from the second Kickstarter!

Since Jonathan and Victoria are such great folks and connoisseurs of kitten-dom, they agreed to lend us Orion—the Bargain Quest shop kitty—for Wizard Kittens!

Orion is a clever kitty with a penchant for making deals, and they fit right in with the rest of the Wizard Kittens! Everyone who backs for at least $20 will get an Orion character cat mat, right alongside Cinder’s character cat mat (and everything else you get).

We’re incredibly grateful to Jonathan and Victoria for letting Orion play with the other kittens, and we can’t wait to bring them to your table. And go check out Bargain Quest (here’s the fantastic SU&SD review). It’s coming out in stores soon!

Just to be 100% clear, Orion isn’t a stretch goal or unlockable reward. We’re just straight up adding Orion to all reward levels, as a thank you to everyone for all your support! You all have been wonderful, amazing backers, and we’re excited to get you another kitten for your table!

Almost There: New Rewards!

But Orion isn't the only kitty we're going to add to the game. We're so close to our next set of rewards, including some more character cat mats (assuming Ophelia deems them worthy of selection). All we need is one more social stretch goal to get a whole new reward!

• We're almost to 2,000 backers... just over 300 backers to go!
• We're almost to 10 "puppers who wish they were wizards" pics... just 4 more to go!
• We’re still looking for pictures of people who wish they were wizards, too!
